We are in an age where there is nothing special about being a virgin anymore, which should not be.
As a matter of fact, many girls make fun of others who claim to be virgins, which definitely makes no sense.
But does this in any way, mean that being a virgin is a turnoff? No! Being a virgin is very attractive.

You probably have a thousand and one reason to think being a virgin is all shades of wrong.
But here’s my little rebuttal to make you know being a virgin till you get married might be old school in many people‘s books, but it’s the right thing:
- It is just right
The normal thing is that everyone should keep themselves till marriage — both the man and the woman.
The fact that people don’t care about all of this doesn’t make it wrong.
The crowd can be wrong — it is in this case.
- It shows how much you can stand by a value
Discipline is a scarce commodity in this generation. Being a virgin shows a level of discipline which is getting lost in this generation.
- You get to have highest form of physical intimacy only with your husband
Having a high body count is not a flex like some people make it feel.
Nobody is going to give you a trophy for having slept around with a couple of people. Sleeping with people all around is detrimental to your own life.
But there is so much dignity in your partner being the only one you will experience in that way. What a great one if it is also the same for your partner.
Advantages of Being a Virgin
These are the advantages that comes with being a virgin and not sleeping around:
- Possibility of being taken seriously
Most guys won’t take girls that sleep around seriously for long term relationships which will lead to marriage. They will just want to have a bite, and run off.
If a guy perceives you as a decent girl with good morals, they tend to treat you better. This is the way of humans.
Now, I have to make it clear that being a virgin does not mean you will get the best of men. You must learn how to keep a man.
There’s a way to attract a man, and also a way to keep him. Virginity is not what attracts men, and can’t be what keeps them but it can add to your points with them.
- No comparison in bed matters
If you have experienced different men in bed (not just with s3x), it will be hard for you not to compare your husband with all the men you have experienced in the past.
And most men wouldn’t want that. I’m a man; and I wouldn’t want my woman thinking of another man when I’m with her in bed. It is enough of a trigger for anger. Some can even go as far as mentioning other people’s names during action with their spouse.
- No soul ties
I know most people don’t believe in soul ties. One way to explain it is that, no matter how long, if you see someone you have been deeply physically intimate with in some type of way, you will feel it in your body.
That’s why many can run back to their ex or even cheat with their ex on their current partners! What a world
They have left a part of them with you after all those intimate moments. It doesn’t even have to be “s3x” exactly.
It takes God to help you get rid of these kinds of soul ties in your life.
The only disadvantage that lies with being a virgin is inexperience when it comes to bed matters, and you can learn with your spouse in marriage. It’s simple!
The Right Man Will Appreciate and Respect Your Virginity
I have to make this clear because the intention of some guys is just to be use and dump ladies. Those kinds of guys would not care if you are a virgin or not, as long as their intentions gets done.
A good man will value your virginity and respect you for it. Don’t let anyone make you feel like men don’t care or they don’t find virgins attractive.
I am here telling that it is a lie. Good men would appreciate and respect women who have not lived their lives whoring themselves out.

I know your mates are probably making you feel some sort of way for being a virgin. The most used line is, “You are a virgin? At 19?”
Losing virginity is not about the age but when you tie the knot with the love of your life. That kind of intimacy is meant between married partners only as it bonds them together.
